Key Responsibilities:
 
Agile & Scrum Leadership
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives).
  • Guide teams on Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Support Agile transformation initiatives within the organization.
  • Coach teams in SAFe and help coordinate Program Increment (PI) Planning activities across multiple Agile teams.
Technical Leadership
  • Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure smooth delivery of AWS-based solutions.
  • Assist in identifying technical risks and dependencies and coordinate mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in backlog refinement sessions to ensure technical feasibility and scalability.
Stakeholder & Customer Management
  • Act as a key liaison between the customer business team, product owners, and technical delivery teams.
  • Translate business needs into actionable user stories and technical deliverables.
  • Manage customer expectations, report progress, and proactively address issues or risks.
  • Drive alignment between business objectives and technical execution.
PI Planning & SAFe Coordination
  • Facilitate PI Planning events: feature breakdown, capacity planning, risk management, and dependency resolution.
  • Support release planning and tracking across multiple Scrum teams.
  • Ensure alignment with ART (Agile Release Train) and cross-functional objectives.
Operational & Shift Support
  • Should be able to work in the second shift occasionally for PI planning activities to support global stakeholders across different time zones.
  • Ensure smooth project communication and handoffs between shifts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM / PSM) or SAFe Scrum Master certification required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile/SAFe environments.
  • Good technical understanding of AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience facilitating PI Planning and managing distributed Agile teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience handling customer-facing roles.
  • Knowledge of commercial pharma processes, CRM systems (like Veeva), and data compliance standards would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in shifts and manage global delivery teams.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and cloud automation.
  • Knowledge of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, or other pharma regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile reporting dashboards.
